Alexander Valley accounts for most of the red grapes in their Cabernet Sauvignon, while the Chardonnay´s is coming from the cooler Russian River Valley.
In the Cabernet they use about 66% French oak and 34% American oak which is then barrell aged in 12 months.
Cabernet is usually described as highly concentrated with dark berries, a touch of vanilla and toasted coconut and cedar while the chardonnay has a fresh fruit sweetness with hints of green apples, peaches, quince and mineral tones.
